Is this too much to ask for as Christmas presents?
I was just busy adding and deleting from my Christmas wish list and finally have a full result. The list of things I really want are what I'm asking about, am I asking for too much/by asking for these things will I be costing my family too much? I don't want to make them pay WAAY to much just for me.
Here's my list:
A Jonny Quest Xmas Ornament - http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=Jonny+Quest+ornament&_sacat=See-All-CategoriesSome supplies for making homemade T-Shirts (a hobby which I have grown fond of)
A speaker for my MP3 player (for playing music in my room)
Some extra stylus's for my Nintendo DS system (I have the original lite)
The Jack Frost Christmas Special on DVD
An extra pair of headphones
Noble Collection Harry Potter Hermione's Time-Turner - http://www.noblecollection.com/index.cfm?fa=products.product
Noble Collection Hermione Granger Artifact Box - http://www.noblecollection.com/index.cfm?fa=products.product
Noble Collection Hermione's Wand - http://www.noblecollection.com/index.cfm?fa=products.product

What I'm really worried about is the Harry Potter memrobilia. I had originally planned on asking for Noble Collection's Golden Compass replica, but I went onto the Harry Potter section of the NC site and found the Hermione items instead. I'm not sure if anyone would actually think of getting them for me, because only my Mother knows I love HP. Still, I'm bringing the list with me to the thanksgiving meals we're going to this week. I actually feel better about picking the Hermione stuff because she is my costume idea for next Halloween.

So, do you think I am breaking the bank with what I'm asking for?
Just found another HP item that I want:

My Mom said we're going to have more money this christmas! I'm very sure about that. We're doing a whole lot better in terms of Money.

Is there anything anybody would reccommend taking off. I REALLY want the HP items and the JQ ornament.
@ We all have sparks!

I think I will take off the bag. I really don't want it that badly.
I just did the math on the HP items. It's $ 112.50. Not as exspensive as the Golden Compass, and it's a lot more stuff than just the Compass.

@ Sarah
This is pretty much all I want. I don't usually ask for any electronics, because I have pretty much all I want in terms of electronics. The speakers are my only exception this year.

I'll take your advice and show the list to my parents as well as the websites.

It does sound like alot, but this is your WISHLIST! So I think you are fine, hahahah I’m asking for stuff that probably adds up to like $ 900! Hahah but I only get a couple of things I ask for every year! :)

Don’t listen to the other answerer, iamnot, if you’re sure you think you’ll have a chance at getting the items on the list.

The bag is the one would take of the list. $ 65 is way too much, and if you’re planning on using it as part of your costume, it won’t work. I think you’ll be okay with your other choices with the HP memorbilia, as you didn’t pick the more exspensive wand. You would have been asking for more if you had picked the Golden Compass replica. The HP stuff you originally chose (not including the bag) add up to less than the Golden Compass is being sold for. Your ornament choice will be fine, most of the ones for sale I saw are less then $ 10.

If you already have headphones for your MP3 player, why not just take the extra ones off of your list? I’ve seen ones availble for $ 5 you can get anywhere else!

I don’t think they have Jack Frost on DVD anymore, but asking doesn’t hurt at all.

I think you’re fine with everything else. Good luck!

Since I am a big HP fan also, I think that it really isn’t that bad. I mean maybe tell your relatives this,”Hey, these are some options for some Christmas presents that I want!” Just think about the items that you really do want, and put them at the top of the list. If you still are feeling unsure about it being to much, than just ask your parents if they think that it’s to much. If they do, then just narrow it down.
    Hope this helped:)!
